A Fine 16th century patinated bronze figure of young male supported on a Sienna Marble column and Porphyry base. European, Circa: 1590-1620. Measuring bronze only: 4.75" high. Total height with marble base: 8" high.
The young nude male figure stands upright holding a freshly picked piece of fruit displaying the stem and leaves above his hands.
Exhibiting exceptional features of the face the eyes, cheeks and mouth all display amazing expression and detail. The hair is shown with fine and delicate waves and curls.
Original and untouched condition. Resting upon an lead pin emerging from an 18th century circular specimen Sienna marble it also boast a square plinth base of Porphyry.
